To access EHSS's services and job opportunities, you must become a member. If you are 14-18 years old and are a San Francisco high school student or enrolled in a GED program, call (415) 392-7600 ext. 1 for more information.

We know that you've got lots of decisions to make about college and careers. With so many choices, it's sometimes hard to know where to start. That's why we offer college and career counseling workshops as part of both Pathways and This Way Ahead.

But these workshops are just the beginning. Our college and career counseling staff is available to help you explore your interests, set your goals, and make a plan to get where you want to go. And everyone at EHSS is happy to share their own college and career experiences with you.

As a member, once you've finished Pathways or This Way Ahead, you can come in to take additional workshops to get the information and preparation you need for college, keep your skills fresh, or explore new career options.

If you're considering college, we have the resources and support to help you get there. We offer SAT preparation, help with applications and writing your college personal statements, and assistance filling out financial aid forms like the FAFSA. All our workshops are free and open to all EHSS members. Download the calendar and see what we have to offer.

Discover Career Options. We offer career exploration workshops, career assessment tools, and lots of helpful one-on-one advice to point your career in the right direction. Once you've completed your junior year, you can explore a career through our summer Career Exploration Program.

Youth Ambassador Program

Your voice is powerful. Use it to represent EHSS. If you're an EHSS member, join our Youth Ambassador Program and gain valuable skills while also providing the youth perspective to our staff. Youth Ambassadors meet monthly to develop public speaking and leadership skills and take on a youth-led service project. Your voice, your confidence, and your experience matter.
